I'll second that! Bon Bini to you, too!
My son (12 at the time) and I initially used a guide but then ended up going off on our own and just walking in, a brief swim and drop to 35 feet at most any site. We rented an underwater camera for $75 for just one dive, but those photos are like gold to us. We each took a photo of the other and got lots of great ocean life shots. Love the food there. We drove around most of the island and spent time at Lac Bay, too.
Highly recommended! We stayed at Sand Dollar and used Bonaire Dive and Adventure.
